Volunteer Opportunities
Andover Trails is run and staffed by volunteers. We encourage everyone who enjoys the town’s outdoor recreational resources to take responsibility to care for them. You can do this by picking up litter as you walk, removing downed branches or other light obstacles from the path, and reporting vandalism, large downed trees or other significant problems.
AVIS properties are maintained by a system of volunteer wardens and a Land Management Committee. To volunteer on an AVIS property, please see http://avisandover.org/wardens.html
Town Conservation properties are managed by the Conservation Department. See https://andoverma.gov/159/Conservation-Commission for more information. Volunteers are needed in 2024 to work on trail maintenance and restoration teams at the Carmel Woods, Foster's Island, and Doyle Link reservations. Email [email protected] for more information.
