Andover has some of the best biking routes north of Boston. Each year, the routes are checked and mapped.

SATURDAY, JUNE 22, 2024, 9 AM - INTRODUCTION TO THE BIKE ROUTES FOR NOVICES

Enjoy cycling but feel nervous riding in town? Join a beginners bike ride led by friendly experienced cyclists to learn strategies and techniques for safe recreational and fitness riding. 

Together we’ll ride Andover Trails’ East-Side Beginners Route, a 9-mile loop of quieter scenic roads and a portion of Harold Parker State Forest. Small groups will ride the marked route at a comfortable pace with stops along the way to talk about safe riding practices.

Meet (and end) at the Phillips Academy Bell Tower (junction of Main and Salem Streets). No registration required. Any necessary postponement due to weather will be posted here and on Facebook by 7:30 am.
