Features:
Extensive wetlands area
bordering the Scug River. Contains a 1000 foot long wooden bog
bridge and boardwalk. Historical plaque at the beginning
of the trail and beautiful memorial bench at the end of
the trail on the right before it enters the Hammond
Reservation.
History:
This piece of Andover
conservation land was dedicated on Sunday, November
18th, 2001 to the late Mary French, a 38 year Andover
resident, nature lover, and former selectman. The trail
and bridge construction were undertaken by the Andover
Trails Committee, Andover Youth Services, and the
schools' Youth at Risk program.
